Job Summary
Plan and execute medical strategy for malignant hematology products across Northern CA, OR, WA, ID, AK, and HI, coordinating with headquarters to achieve therapeutic area objectives. Deliver approved medical content, respond to unsolicited HCP inquiries, and manage inbound queries via established triage processes. Identify potential sites for Pfizer-sponsored clinical trials and provide medical support throughout the Investigator Sponsored Research process. Cultivate expertise in study design and methodology while representing Pfizer with clinical associations and patient advocacy groups. Mentor study leads and partners, and lead cross-functional committees to drive medical content strategy. Maintain 60-80% travel to attend congresses and customer meetings, operating within a matrixed team to foster professional relationships aligned with medical objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a health science
- PharmD/PhD with 5+ years of experience
- MBA/MSc with 7+ years of experience
- BA/BSc with 8+ years of experience
- Subject matter expertise in malignant hematology
- Currently reside in one of the states within the territory: Northern CA, OR, WA, ID, AK, HI
- Ability to operate a Pfizer company car and regularly fly on airplanes
- Flexibility to travel 60-80% of time
- Ability to work on weekends
- Reasonable proximity to airline 'hub' city
- Permanent work authorization in the United States
- Candidates must be authorized to be employed in the U.S. by any employer
Desired Qualifications
- PharmD, PhD, or equivalent terminal doctoral degree (e.g., Doctor of Nursing Practice, Doctor of Health Sciences)
- Deep expertise and/or clinical experience in malignant hematology
- Established network of HCPs in the territory (Northern CA, OR, WA, ID, AK, HI)
- Familiarity with internal/external SOPs/Rules/Regulations regarding Pfizer/customer interactions and relationships
- Previous Field Medical experience

- Manage a significant volume of projects developed in a remote environment, while exhibiting the ability to prioritize, successfully implement, and demonstrate excellent judgment skills and work in a continuous improvement environment
- Work within a matrixed, multi-disciplinary team to foster strong Pfizer/customer professional relationships which are aligned with Pfizer medical objectives
- Effectively manage through and lead change in an ever-changing and evolving external health care environment
- Preference for major cities in North CA, OR or WA
