Job Summary
Achieve assigned sales objectives for the Albany territory by conducting calls on healthcare professionals to communicate balanced, accurate information on Kura's FDA-approved products. Develop and implement a territory business plan while navigating complex external structures including hospitals, IDNs, and GPOs. Demonstrate fiscal responsibility by operating within the assigned expense budget and managing administrative requirements such as CRM reporting and expense management. Comply with all federal, state, and local laws including the PhRMA Code and Kura standards during all interactions. Successfully complete ongoing training in product knowledge, disease state, and selling skills. Manage large territories requiring periodic overnight travel, with occasional evening and weekend availability for conferences.
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree
- 6+ years of successful pharmaceutical/biotech sales experience
- 3+ years in the oncology/hematology and/or rare disease markets
- preferably with oral therapeutic selling experience
- Management of large territories that includes periodic overnight travel
- Occasionally work evenings and weekends as needed for conferences
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong computer skills, notably WORD, EXCEL and POWER POINT

- ability to comply with all federal/state/local laws, regulations and guidelines including but not limited to the PhRMA Code on Interactions with Healthcare Professionals as well as complying with all Kura standards and policies relating to all job activities
