Job Summary
Oncologist sought for expanding independent multi-specialty group with 3 cancer treatment centers in SE New Mexico. Practice offers high complexity lab services and a full radiology department including Digital X-ray, Pet/CT, Nuclear Camera, Ultrasound, Dexa Scan, Echo, MRI, with NexGenEMR. Leadership opportunity with a flexible schedule and potential 4-day work week. Strong support team including 2 medical assistants per provider and 6-8 certified chemo infusion nurses. Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating cancer, solid tumors, and benign/malignant hematologic disorders; outpatient chemo orders, bone marrow biopsies, lumbar punctures, smear review, and referrals to radiation oncology or surgery as needed; inpatient care for oncology emergencies and treatment-related complications with chemo-infusion. Requires BE/BC in Hematology/Oncology and NM license or eligibility. J1 waiver sponsor available; relocation and comprehensive benefits provided.
