Job Summary
Onboarding Staff Accountant at Aduro Advisors supports the onboarding client service team by handling core data and entry-level accounting tasks for venture capital and private equity clients. Responsibilities include assisting with Xero, Salesforce and FundPanel setups; reconciling banking transactions and preparing journal entries under US GAAP in Xero; maintaining investor and fund data in FundPanel; coordinating with the data ingestion team; reviewing historical financial data and updating conversion balances and capital calls; maintaining entity/investment documentation for audit/tax readiness; managing capital calls, investor communications, and related wire confirmations; preparing management fee calculations and supporting quarterly financial workbooks for the accounting manager. A Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting is preferred, with 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience; proficiency in Excel and Word and a willingness to learn new software systems.
