Onboarding & Development Trainer

Onboarding & Development Trainer role focusing on shaping learners' early career steps in transport. Responsibilities include managing learner enrolments, planning and delivering inductions (both face-to-face and some online), tailoring induction content to individual needs, providing on-bus mentoring and coaching to developing drivers, fostering safe driving practices, and ensuring learner readiness and compliance through liaison with employers. The role emphasizes high-quality mentoring, strong organizational skills, and ongoing professional development in line with sector standards. The role is hybrid, with time split between a depot and home-based work, with specifics discussed during interview. DBS and Right to Work in the UK checks apply; training towards teaching/assessing qualifications is supported. DBS and online checks will be conducted at job offer stage; recording of audio/visual content may occur as part of the training environment.
