Job Summary
Onboarding Consultant at FuturePlan leads end-to-end onboarding for retirement plans (start-up and takeover), managing client/advisor expectations, timelines, and go-live readiness. Responsibilities include plan design validation, data collection, asset conversion oversight, account setup, process optimization, cross-team collaboration, training and mentoring, and ensuring compliance and timely delivery. Requires strong client service orientation, communication, problem-solving, adaptability, and a Day 1 mindset. Virtual remote positions available; internet speed requirements apply. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field; or equivalent professional experience
- 5+ years of experience in retirement plan administration, onboarding, or financial services; experience with multiple plan types (DC, DB, start-up, takeover) strongly preferred
- Familiarity with recordkeeping platforms such as FTW and ASC; ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technology tools
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
