Job Summary
Onboarding and Credentialing Coordinator facilitates onboarding activities and administers the physician and mid-level facility credentialing reapplications process. Responsible for preparing and submitting credentialing applications and supporting documentation for enrolling providers and clients with healthcare facilities. Maintains enrollment/credentialing timelines, coordinates credentialing data (including medical degree, DEA number, state license, board certifications, CV, malpractice insurance, and state forms), obtains missing documentation, creates and maintains documents in DocuSign/Adobe, and supports onboarding for APPs and MD/DOs. Also handles travel/calendar interviews, runs OIG reports, maintains PECOS & NPPES, and answers routine credentialing and contracting inquiries while ensuring confidentiality and compliance. This role requires interaction with providers, practice managers, and multiple departments and involves 25% telecommute but is in-person at Tempe, AZ.
