Job Summary
Provide active direct physical assistance, supervision, and behavioral support to individuals served in Agency programs while maintaining their privacy and serving as a positive role model. Assist in developing written objectives, carrying out skill development plans, and helping individuals participate in social, recreational, and educational activities. Manage personal hygiene, health and safety issues, medication administration, and transportation needs. Maintain a clean, safe environment through routine housekeeping and emergency plan drills. Document progress, attend meetings, and comply with all Agency policies and regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Current valid Arizona Driver's License
- Clean driving record, no more than 2 moving violations in a 3-year period
- Twenty-one (21) years of age or older
- Able to communicate effectively with individuals in service and team members using both verbal and written skills
- Able to use computer proficiently
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Able to meet all background checks and personal history checks
