Job Summary
Manage onsite customer hazardous and non-hazardous waste needs by answering inquiries, suggesting solutions, and packing, labeling, manifesting, and shipping waste per contract parameters. Operate and maintain equipment safely to complete assigned projects while ensuring accuracy of US DOT/EPA paperwork. Comply with all environmental, health, and safety policies and enforce procedures across clean storage warehouses, household hazardous waste, laboratory activities, and waste sampling. Requires OSHA 40-hour Hazwoper certification, Class A or B CDL, and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science. $28 to $32 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or Science related discipline
- 2-4 years of experience industry related work and customer service
- Strong leadership and teamwork skills
- Proficiency with project/time management
- Knowledge of continuous process operations, chemical processing and waste disposal
- Computer proficiency with Google Office
- OSHA 40 hour Hazwoper Certification
- Commercial Driver's License Class A or B
- Normal close range vision
- Manual dexterity
- Mobility and hearing
- Health must permit regular attendance and extended hours
