Job Summary
Manage onsite customer hazardous and non-hazardous waste needs by packing, labeling, manifesting, and shipping waste according to contract parameters. Operate and maintain equipment safely to complete assigned projects while enforcing all environmental, health, and safety policies. Ensure accuracy of US DOT/EPA paperwork to expedite disposal and maintain a professional image by answering client inquiries and suggesting solutions. Work in a supervised or independent capacity within a clean storage warehouse or laboratory environment, handling waste sampling and household hazardous waste. Requires OSHA 40-hour Hazwoper certification and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or Science related discipline
- OSHA 40 hour Hazwoper Certification
- Normal close range vision
- Manual dexterity
- Mobility and hearing
- Health must permit regular attendance and extended hours
Desired Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience industry related work and customer service
- Strong leadership and teamwork skills
- Proficiency with project/time management
- Knowledge of continuous process operations, chemical processing and waste disposal
- Computer proficiency with Google Office
