Job Summary
Provide hazardous and non-hazardous waste services at client facilities in accordance with State and Federal environmental, health, and safety regulations. Answer client inquiries, suggest solutions to existing and potential problems, and manage onsite waste needs per contract parameters. Palletize drums, arrange pickups, unload trucks using a forklift or tugger, and pack recyclables such as batteries, cardboard, and plastic alongside non-recyclables like food waste. Comply with all safety policies and procedures while maintaining a professional image. Requires a high school diploma, two to four years of forklift and warehouse experience, and proficiency with Google Office. This role includes mandatory 40-hour HAZWOPER, Safety, and DOT training.
Required Qualifications
- high school diploma/GED
- Two to four years of forklift experience
- Two to four years of warehouse experience
- Strong leadership and teamwork skills
- Proficiency with project/time management
- Knowledge of continuous process operations, chemical processing and waste disposal
- Computer proficiency with Google Office
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be able to operate a forklift or tugger
- Must be able to unload trucks
- Must be able to pack recyclables
- Must be able to pack non recyclables
- Must be able to handle food waste
- Must be able to answer inquiries
- Must be able to suggest solutions to existing and potential problems
- Must be able to manage onsite customer's hazardous and non-hazardous waste needs
- Must be able to comply and enforce all environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures
- Must be able to palletize drums
- Must be able to arrange for pickup
- Must be able to pack, label, manifest, and ship waste
- Must be able to work in a supervised and/or independent capacity
- Must be able to successfully and safely complete scheduled projects
- Must be able to work Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m or 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m
