On Site Specialist I

Job Summary
Manage onsite customer hazardous and non-hazardous waste needs, answering inquiries and suggesting solutions to existing and potential problems. Comply with all environmental, health, and safety policies while packing, labeling, manifesting, and shipping waste according to contract parameters. Operate and maintain equipment safely to ensure optimum efficiency for assigned projects. Ensure completion and accuracy of all US DOT/EPA paperwork to expedite disposal. Requires OSHA 40-hour Hazwoper certification and Class A or B Commercial Driver's License. Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related discipline preferred with 2-4 years of industry experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or Science related discipline
- OSHA 40 hour Hazwoper Certification
- Commercial Driver's License Class A or B
- Normal close range vision
- Manual dexterity
- Mobility and hearing
- Health must permit regular attendance and extended hours
Desired Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience industry related work and customer service
- Strong leadership and teamwork skills
- Proficiency with project/time management
- Knowledge of continuous process operations, chemical processing and waste disposal
- Computer proficiency with Google Office
