Job Summary
Manage onsite customer hazardous and non-hazardous waste needs by packing, labeling, manifesting, and shipping waste per contract parameters. Operate and maintain equipment safely to complete assigned projects while ensuring US DOT/EPA paperwork accuracy. Comply with all environmental, health, and safety policies and enforce procedures during laboratory activities, waste sampling, and handling. Maintain a professional image by answering client inquiries and suggesting solutions to existing problems. Requires OSHA 40-hour Hazwoper certification, Class A or B CDL, and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science. Hourly pay ranges from $28 to $30.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or Science related discipline
- 2-4 years of experience industry related work and customer service
- Strong leadership and teamwork skills
- Proficiency with project/time management
- Knowledge of continuous process operations, chemical processing and waste disposal
- Computer proficiency with Google Office
- OSHA 40 hour Hazwoper Certification
- Commercial Driver's License Class A or B
- Normal close range vision
- Manual dexterity
- Mobility and hearing
- Health must permit regular attendance and extended hours
