Job Summary
On-site Property Manager responsible for managing day-to-day property operations, tenant relations, lease administration, and financial reporting. Duties include processing applications, generating leases and renewals, coordinating move-ins with residents, enforcing lease terms, communicating with residents, updating Yardi/RentCafé CRM, coordinating vendor bids and maintenance, inspecting properties for good working order, assisting with financial statements, managing owner communications, and supervising onsite staff. Requires leasing license (or within 90 days), knowledge of real estate/property management, strong organizational and communication skills, and ability to navigate local/state/federal regulations. Proficiency with Yardi and Excel expected; ability to handle high-volume emails and after-hours requests.
Required Qualifications
- Leasing license or obtain one within 90 days of employment
- Knowledge and strong interest in real estate and property management
- Demonstrated ability to work independently; self-manage emotion and build strong relationships with customers, Peak employees, and vendors
- Positive attitude, highly organized, detail oriented with the ability to demonstrate sound judgement
- Ability to ask for help when needed
- Familiar with applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations
- Ability to handle large volume of emails and phone calls
- Strong interpersonal & business communication skills
- Knowledge of financial reporting
- Competence with and/or desire to learn and use systems/tools (Yardi, Excel)
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Availability to access emails on weekends and be available to resolve issues as needed
- Must be available to handle requests as needed outside of normal business hours
