Job Summary
Oversee day-to-day operations for 22-unit permanent supportive housing buildings, including rent collection, lease enforcement, and unit turnovers. Conduct regular internal inspections, coordinate repairs, manage vendor contracts, and process work orders while maintaining accurate resident ledgers and compliance files. Lead janitorial duties, minor repairs, and event logistics, ensuring safety and preventative maintenance schedules are met. Serve as the primary point of contact for resident complaints, collaborate with supportive services teams on retention strategies, and assist clients with rental assistance and lease issues. Live on-site in a provided unit with compensated rent, reporting to the Assistant Director of Property Management.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED or Equivalent
- Minimum one (1) year related multifamily property management experience in supportive housing
- Current, valid California Driver's License with an acceptable driving record
- Knowledge of HUD/Fair Housing and Public Housing Authorities rules and regulations
- Working knowledge of workplace safety and illness and injury prevention practices
- Detail oriented with good time management, organizational, written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
- Able to learn quickly and work effectively
- Must be available for on-call after-hours and on weekends to address any emergency work orders and/or other building emergencies
- Regularly required to sit, stand, bend and occasionally lift or carry up to 25 pounds on a regular basis
- May need to bend, stoop, twist, and sit throughout the day
- Will be required to walk or drive to both buildings (5 minutes apart)
- This position requires the manager to live on-site in a provided one-bedroom unit with washer/dryer located at the property with compensated rent
Desired Qualifications

- Experience working with or for supportive services providers
- Familiarity with AppFolio and other property management software
- Experience creating and managing budgets
- Self-starter with the ability to stay ahead of the curve
