Job Summary
On-site CSR II handles customer inquiries, provides quotes, and processes orders via telephone, fax, email, electronic methods, or walk-in; negotiates pricing within parameters to support Motion Industries' gross profit; maintains inventory levels, expedites backorders, sources products from branch/distribution/suppliers, and determines cost-effective shipping methods; may place orders up to $5,000 per line and $10,000 per purchase order; supports relationships to drive repeat business and may mentor less experienced representatives; role requires more than 50% time at the customer location and emphasizes reliability, organization, communication, and multi-tasking.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 3-5 years of related experience
- Strong communication skills (written, verbal, listening)
- Reliability, organization, attention to detail
- Strong computer skills
- Negotiation skills
- Basic product knowledge
