Job Summary
On-Call Teaching Kitchen Coordinator supports CIA Consulting and Food Enthusiast programs in Hyde Park, NY, ensuring smooth operation of teaching kitchens. Responsibilities include kitchen setup and breakdown, stock/inventory management, equipment organization, maintaining cleanliness, assisting with class setup and demonstrations, coordinating with internal teams to support non-degree programs, supervising Earn & Learn students, overseeing menu labeling and ingredients, and assisting with procurement and storage. Requires professional culinary techniques, strong customer service, energy and adaptability, teamwork, and ability to work nights/weekends; ProChef Level 1 and related hospitality experience preferred. The role involves coordinating with kitchen manager and program manager to ensure operational continuity and adherence to CIA standards.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one (1) year of related work experience in the wine/beverage, foodservice, event management, or hospitality industry
