Job Summary
Arrive on time to prepare for the day and assume the assigned teacher's responsibilities, following the lesson plan closely while maintaining an orderly environment. Fulfill duties including taking attendance and communicating with the teacher regarding work accomplished, student behavior, and any pertinent information. Report hours worked in a timely and accurate manner. Serve as a role model for young people by embodying Christian character qualities and maintaining a Biblical lifestyle. This role supports the mission of FCS by filling in for absent teachers under the direction of the Principal.
Required Qualifications
- Committed Christian with a close personal walk with the Lord and the Christian character qualities to serve as a role model for young people
- Regular in attendance at an evangelical Protestant church
- Commitment to a Biblical lifestyle, not promoting or engaging in premarital, extramarital, transgender, or homosexual behavior
- If married, a solid commitment based on Mark 10:9 and positive marital relationship
- Strong commitment to Christian education
- Ability to manage a class and relate well with students
- Teachable, servant spirit
Desired Qualifications
- College degree and teaching experience preferred, but not required
