Job Summary
Counsel shareholders on employment preparation, coordinate with Shareholder Records on forms, and assist in creating and updating profiles and resumes. Provide reports on tracking and inputting data into databases that support shareholder employment and development. Assist in developing accountability tools, work with universities and colleges to identify developmental programs, and make recommendations to continuously improve shareholder hire goals. Conduct youth outreach to prepare students for successful futures and encourage elder participation in the local elders' council. Maintain access to community resources such as scholarships and manage office supplies and routine maintenance. Travel up to 25% to various locations within the U.S. and remote areas, including using snow machines, boats, small airplanes, and ATVs.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 3 year's relevant work experience to include administrative, recruitment and/or workforce development
- Equivalent education, training, or similar experience may be substituted for relevant experience
- Basic office computer and software skills
- Proficiency in oral and written communications
- Interpersonal and listening skills
- Ability to become UA certified within 3 months of hire
- Ability to analyze and problem solve
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Must operate in a strict climate of confidentiality and discretion
- An individual who has worked effectively with minimum supervision
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 lbs
- Must be available to travel up to 25% to various locations within the U.S. and/or remote locations
- Must be able to use alternative modes of transportation, including but not limited to snow machines, boats, small airplanes and ATVs
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Previous experience working with youth and/or adults one-on-one or in group settings
