Job Summary
Conduct security patrols and access control at the Cedar Bayou oil refinery site, monitoring CCTV and responding to incidents per established procedures. Perform searches of people, vehicles, and buildings; confront suspicious persons; and execute rescue functions during accidents or emergencies. Extinguish fires using appropriate equipment and communicate effectively over radio channels while gathering witness statements for investigations. Maintain composure, exercise sound judgment on detainment or search actions, and operate a motor vehicle safely in all weather conditions. Schedule and hours vary based on business needs.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to speak, read, understand and write English
- Must be able to successfully complete a criminal background investigation, drug screen, and a post-offer physical evaluation
- State of Texas Level II Unarmed Security Officer license (or ability to obtain)
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of experience in law enforcement, military police, corrections, or private security company within the past five years
- Military experience in an applicable specialty
- Military, law enforcement, or security experience
