Job Summary
Provide direct and indirect services to individuals and groups of members served while supporting training and mentoring new hires. Deliver care in a 15-bed voluntary crisis residential treatment center serving justice-involved individuals with an average stay of 14-21 days. Maintain current CPR, First Aid, and CPI certifications throughout employment. Shifts include on-call, AM/NOC/PM, and rotating days with varying hours. Starting wage ranges from $32.52 to $40.19 based on geographic location and experience. Telecare offers paid time off, nine paid holidays, shift differentials, and access to free supervision and CEUs.
Required Qualifications
- High School graduation or a G.E.D. equivalent
- At least five (5) year of direct service experience in a mental health setting
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be CPR, First Aid, and CPI certified (hands-on course) on date of employment or prior to providing direct client care and maintain current certification throughout employment
- Successful completion and receipt of acceptable results of the applicable post-offer physical examination
- Acceptable results of the 2-step PPD test for tuberculosis
- Acceptable criminal background clearances
- Excluded party sanctions clearance
- Degree or license verification
- Valid driver's license
- Motor vehicle clearance
- Proof of auto insurance
- Valid and current driver's license, and personal vehicle insurance with your name listed as a driver
- Willingness to use the company vehicle to drive clients to appointments and groups, etc.
- Must be available for On-Call shifts
- Must be available for AM/NOC/PM shifts
- Must be available for shifts: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
- Must be available for shifts: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
- Must be available for shifts: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM
- Must be available for days that vary as needed
- Must be willing to work in a 15-bed, voluntary crisis residential treatment center
- Must be willing to serve a co-ed population with 90% male and 10% female census predicted
- Must be willing to serve persons with justice-involved mental health status
- Must be willing to work at the Muriel Wright Recovery Center CRT on Santa Clara County's Muriel Wright behavioral health campus in San Jose, California
- Must be willing to work under contract with Santa Clara County Behavioral Health Services Department
