Job Summary
Safely transport students and staff to and from school field trip destinations throughout the Los Angeles area. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, maintain accurate trip logs and passenger counts, and assist with boarding and exiting. Follow all traffic laws, school transportation regulations, and company safety policies while communicating with school staff regarding schedules and route changes. Respond to on-call scheduling needs with reliability and punctuality. Requires a valid California driver's license, Class A or B CDL with Passenger and School Bus endorsements, and current pupil transportation certification. Required Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record
- Commercial Driver's License Class A or Class B
- Valid (P) Passenger and (S) School Bus Endorsements
- Current or ability to obtain a school bus/pupil transportation certificate as required
- Must pass a background check and DOT physical/drug screening
- Flexible availability to respond to on-call and part-time scheduling needs
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience driving school buses, shuttles, or passenger vans preferred
- Patient, responsible, and comfortable working with school-age children
