Job Summary
On-call Parking/Valet Attendant for Midtown & Downtown Atlanta hotels. Responsibilities include greeting guests, assisting with coats and luggage, opening car doors, retrieving and parking vehicles, performing vehicle damage checks, and maintaining keys. Maintain professional appearance and adhere to AAA Parking standards. Collaborate with hotel staff to ensure smooth guest arrivals/departures and follow safety protocols. Requires 18+, ability to stand/walk/run, flexible hours including nights/weekends/holidays, valid driver’s license with clean record, and background check. Prior valet/hospitality experience preferred; high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to stand, walk, and run for extended periods and work in outdoor environments
- Willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be dependable and responsive to last-minute scheduling needs
- Excellent communication, guest service, and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail ability to handle stressful situations with poise
- Ability to meet physical requirements (lift/push/pull up to 20 pounds, carry up to 10 pounds)
- Friendly, energetic, well-groomed professional appearance and demeanor
- Prior valet or hospitality experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
- Prior experience in valet, hospitality, or customer service roles
- Working Environment: Outdoor setting with exposure to weather conditions
- High guest interaction and fast-paced environment
- Frequent lifting, bending, and walking/running
