On-Call Mobile Advisor position within Job Corps requires enforcing Safety and Security policies, performing alarm and patrol duties, providing escort and visitor-control services, investigating incidents, maintaining security logs, and supporting reception/switchboard tasks. The role emphasizes safety, discipline, and employability skill development, with duties including vehicle transportation support, building security checks, and collaboration with law enforcement as needed. Must have a High School diploma or equivalent, 6 months of related security experience, and a valid driver’s license; CPR/FA certification is required and obtaining a bus driver's license may be necessary. Strong interpersonal and written communication, comfort with coordinating with staff and students, and the ability to work both indoors and outdoors are essential.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 6 months of related security experience (preferred 1 year)
- Valid driver’s license in state of employment with acceptable driving record
- CPR/FA Certification
- Ability to obtain bus driver’s license
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
- Ability to operate office equipment
- Ability to interact with trainee population
- Ability to maintain safety practices in all areas of responsibility
