Job Summary
Provide recovery-focused services including the safe administration of medical treatments and medications as prescribed. Implement direct care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and standards of care. Maintain current CPR, BLS, First Aid, and CPI certifications throughout employment. This on-call role supports a 24/7 County-owned Restorative Transformation Center serving individuals Incompetent to Stand Trial or court-ordered for treatment across 30 residential beds. Shifts and days vary as needed, with pay ranging from $27.23 to $33.66 based on geographic location and shift differentials.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) /Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) program
- Current licensure as LVN or LPT
- Current CPR/BLS certificate
- At least 18 years of age
- CPR certification
- First Aid certification
- CPI certification (hands-on course)
- Valid driver's license
- Personal vehicle insurance with applicant listed as driver
- Willingness to use the company vehicle to drive clients to appointments and groups
- Successful completion and receipt of acceptable results of the applicable post-offer physical examination
- Acceptable results of the 2-step PPD test for tuberculosis
- Acceptable criminal background clearances
- Excluded party sanctions clearance
- Degree or license verification
