Job Summary
This On-Call LPN position provides after hours nursing support to patients and families, including home visits for symptom relief and assistance at end-of-life. Key responsibilities include communicating with Triage RN, managing patient care plans, arranging patient transfers, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Candidates require a current LPN license, at least 2 years of clinical experience, and must be capable of performing physical assessments and handling various patient care duties. Must be available for scheduled weekend and holiday shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Practical Nurse with current N.C. license
- Minimum 2 years recent clinical experience.
- Must have and maintain a valid North Carolina Driver’s License, maintain automobile insurance coverage and have access to reliable transportation.
- Must be available to work on or around holidays as scheduled and potentially on a rotating basis.
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledgeable about reimbursement sources, Medicare regulations, licensing laws, and accreditation standards.
- Competent computer skills.
- Current CPR certification.
