Job Summary
On-Call Licensed Practical Nurse in withdrawal management responsible for patient assessments, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, administering medications, monitoring withdrawal progress, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, educating patients about withdrawal and relapse prevention, supervising nursing assistants, maintaining accurate medical records, and staying current with best practices in substance-use treatment and nursing. Requires on-call availability, HIPAA/privacy adherence, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Must have graduated from an accredited nursing institution
- Must have an active nursing license or be able to obtain one within 8 weeks of hire through the Oregon State Board of Nursing
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite esp. Outlook, Excel and Word
- Solid patient care experience is required
- Demonstrated effectiveness in presenting ideas, transmitting information, or convey concepts to individuals or groups of people of varying educational, cultural and experiential levels
