On-Call Interpreter

Provide interpretation services to bridge language barriers between indigenous communities and healthcare/social-service providers. Interpret one language into another with accurate, confidential translation; maintain discretion and ensure professional communication. Responsibilities include listening to information in one language and interpreting into the client’s language, preparing before assignments, and adapting to variable hours including evenings and weekends. Requires fluency in multiple Indigenous languages and Spanish/English, strong writing skills in Spanish and/or English, proficiency with Microsoft Office/Google Apps/Zoom, and the ability to work remotely from a private environment when remote work is required.
