Job Summary
Vacuum, mop, sweep, and dust assigned residential rooms and common areas. Clean windows, mirrors, and restrooms while removing waste and replenishing supplies. Maintain a cleaning chart, organize storage areas, and notify supervisors of unsafe conditions or repair needs. Assist in specialty areas including assisted living, long-term care, and laundry as required. This on-call role offers flexible scheduling with an average of 19 hours per week or less, paid at $13.00 to $15.00 per hour. Prior healthcare experience is a plus, and candidates must pass background checks and safety training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED OR 1 to 3 years of related experience
- Basic computer knowledge
- Must have the ability to complete required safety classes
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must be able to pass drug test and FBI/BCI background checks
- Must be able to pass sanctions checks for working in health care facilities
Desired Qualifications
- Prior housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred
- Previous experience in a healthcare environment is a plus
