Job Summary
Conduct floor operations for hotel and hospitality events, managing setup, strike, and execution of AV technology solutions. Greet guests and clients, providing clear equipment instructions while maintaining continuous communication to ensure event success. Complete all sets and strikes per SOPs, review daily invoices for client signatures, and maintain accurate event records within business systems. Secure inventory, report any lost or damaged equipment immediately, and ensure all occupied areas remain clean and organized. Uphold company security, safety, and operational policies while continuously improving technical skills in audio, video, data, staging, and networking.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate or equivalent
- Prior exposure to audio-visual and/or hospitality industry
- Computer proficiency (hardware, software, and networking)
- Strong technical aptitude
- Good working knowledge of computer hardware and software
- Planning ability; able to plan, prioritize
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong team player orientation
- Commitment to best-in-class customer service for internal and external stakeholders
- Professional appearance
- Lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
