Job Summary
Conduct security patrols and monitor assigned areas to maintain a safe environment for customers, employees, and vendors. Control access points, manage traffic flow, and respond to alarms or emergencies while identifying and reporting suspicious activity. Monitor CCTV systems, complete daily activity logs and incident reports, and inspect property for safety risks such as fire hazards. Greet and assist visitors professionally, provide directions, and support loss prevention efforts. Follow all post orders, safety procedures, and emergency protocols. Maintain situational awareness and a visible, approachable presence throughout your flexible on-call shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to stay alert and respond calmly in emergency situations
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow directions
- Ability to write clear and accurate reports
- Must present a professional appearance and demeanor
- City Security license is required upon hire, we can help you obtain this
