Job Summary
On-call Dietary Aide in Sacramento participates in providing quality meals and nutritional services to patients, staff and guests in a psychiatric hospital. Responsibilities include assembling and preparing food and snacks, organizing and delivering prepared food to patient areas, properly processing, storing, and preparing food on tight timelines, maintaining kitchen sanitation, documenting food labeling and procedures, serving behavioral health patients and staff with a friendly demeanor, and supporting professional growth. Requires High School degree or equivalent and Food Safety Handler Card; available for on-call shifts and able to work day, weekend or evening shifts with 48-hour notice; works well in a team and maintains confidentiality; operates kitchen equipment and adheres to safety and hygiene standards.
