Job Summary
Support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities by assisting with daily living, skill-building, and personal care while ensuring a clean, safe, and respectful environment. Work as part of a compassionate, collaborative team to maintain client safety and dignity. This on-call position requires a minimum of 32 hours per month, including 16 weekend hours between 2:30pm Friday and 6:45am Monday. Candidates must be 18 or older, hold a valid driver's license, and possess the ability to lift 50 lbs regularly. Proficiency in English is required for effective communication.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift/push/pull 50 lbs regularly
- Proficiency in English, including the ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend the language effectively
- Minimum of 32 hours per month
- 16 of those hours will be required on the weekend, which falls between 2:30pm on Friday and 6:45am on Monday morning
- Positions classified to this class may be exposed to infectious waste, diseases and blood and airborne pathogens such as TB, HIV and Hepatitis
- Incumbents are required to have the ability to lift, bend, push and/or pull 50 pounds on a continuous basis
