Job Summary
Assist with food preparation and kitchen sanitation, wash dishes, and maintain cleanliness of food service areas. Deliver resident meal carts, stock refrigerators, and set and clean dining areas to ensure a pleasant mealtime experience for senior residents with neurodegenerative conditions. This role requires a Food Handlers Certificate, knowledge of food safety regulations, and the ability to work with individuals with Alzheimer's and dementia. You must be comfortable with physical tasks like walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs, along with reliable transportation. Required Qualifications
- Food Handlers Certificate from the County Department of Environmental Health
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Willingness to work with individuals with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia
- Active role: walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
- Effective communicator in verbal and written English
- Comfortable working around animals and pets
- Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards
- Background check

- TB testing (if applicable)
- Work authorization with both the Social Security Administration and the Department of Homeland Security
