Job Summary
Greet guests and manage check-in and check-out procedures while providing information about lodge amenities and community resources. Coordinate transportation and EMPOWER Program services, respond to guest requests and emergencies, and maintain an organized front desk with accurate records. Monitor lobby security and implement safety protocols. This on-call, as-needed position requires general availability for day, evening, weekend, or weekday shifts, including coverage for vacations and call-offs. The role involves extended periods of standing, walking, and occasional lifting of luggage in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of Customer Service Experience
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends
- Ability to work independently and multitask
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and multi-line phone systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work extended periods of standing and walking
- Occasional lifting and moving of luggage, packages, or other items
- Some manual tasks, such as carrying luggage or opening doors for guests
- Physical endurance to handle the demands of a fast-paced environment
- General availability
- Subject to covering evening shift, day shift, a weekend shift, or weekday shift
- Including coverage for vacations, call-offs, and other absences
Desired Qualifications
- Additional education or training in hospitality management or customer service
- Previous experience in hospitality, guest services, or a related field
