Job Summary
On Call Caregiver for Visiting Angels of El Paso. Flexible availability to cover short and long shifts and provide in-home care to elderly clients across West Texas, including El Paso area. Responsibilities include assisting with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting), companionship, meal preparation and feeding assistance, light housekeeping, transportation to appointments and errands, mobility transfers and fall prevention, and monitoring/reporting changes in the client’s condition. Requires excellent time-management, reliable transportation to client visits, strong communication, ability to pass background check and drug screen, and a compassionate, safety-conscious approach to in-home care. Shifts range from 1 to 12 hours, with options for full-time, part-time, and PRN coverage. PPE provided and benefits offered.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent time-management skills
- Reliable transportation to client visits
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with basic housekeeping and cooking tasks
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
