Job Summary
Evaluate and interpret patient assessments for Phase II Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehab programs while maintaining AACVPR certification requirements. Develop treatment plans focusing on functional outcomes and provide guidance and education to patients and families regarding their physical, cultural, and psychosocial needs. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate care, document billing, and manage equipment inventory. Identify individual patient needs and exhibit compassion in all interactions. Requires current Minnesota RT or RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications, and experience with stress testing and telemetry. Schedule includes Mon-Thurs shifts from 6:30am to 3:00pm with on-call availability.
Required Qualifications
- Current State of Minnesota license in Respiratory Therapy (RT) or Registered Nurse (RN), which must be in good standing
- Associate or Bachelor degree in Respiratory Therapy or an Associate or Bachelor degree in Nursing
- Current American Heart BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Training in BLS, ACLS, and PALS to be obtained within 3 months upon hire if not currently certified
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with 1+ years of Cardiology Experience
- 1+ years of Healthcare Experience
- 1 year Rhythm and Telemetry Recognition
- 1 year of Stress Testing Experience
