Job Summary
Provide direct support to adolescent residents during daily routines, group activities, and therapeutic programming. Help residents practice coping skills, communication, and emotional regulation while maintaining a safe, structured environment. Collaborate with clinical staff on treatment goals, complete daily progress notes, and assist with minor food preparation. Use safe verbal de-escalation and approved intervention techniques when needed. Paid training covers substance use recovery support and crisis intervention. This on-call role offers flexible hours for supplemental income or experience in mental health and youth development. Candidates must be 21 or older, hold a valid driver's license, and commit to a minimum of 8 months.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 21 years of age or older
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record
- Ability to pass a Utah State background check
- Willingness to commit to a minimum of 8 months
- Ability to obtain a Food Handler's Permit before the first day of work
