Job Summary
Prepare all drink orders for guests according to specified recipes and maintain complete knowledge of service requirements, including pricing, beverage characteristics, and designated glassware. Transport the bar unit with all supplies and equipment to the assigned function area, set it up as specified, and follow all guest billing, payment processing, and cash handling responsibilities per policy. Abide by state liquor regulations, including prohibitions on serving minors and intoxicated guests. Assist in other duties as assigned to keep events running efficiently. This flexible role requires working varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on event schedules at Town and Country Resort's 295,000 square feet of convention space.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on event schedules
- Ability to stand, walk, and move quickly for extended periods (up to 8 hours or more)
- Lift, carry, push, or pull items up to 50 pounds (e.g., trays, chairs, tables, and banquet equipment)
- Perform repetitive motions such as bending, stooping, and reaching
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with periods of high activity
Desired Qualifications
- Two or more years' experience as Bartender preferred
- "TIPS" or equivalent certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team and adapt to changing event needs
- A positive attitude and commitment to providing outstanding guest experiences
