Job Summary
Assist Banquet Manager in preparing for banquet guests and ensuring a positive guest experience. Set up all meeting rooms to guest specifications, including moving staging, tables, chairs, and dance floors from storage to rooms; replenish with clean glasses and water; and break down rooms after meetings. Maintain room and ballroom presentation through cleaning routines and be available to work regularly. Demonstrate strong physical endurance to lift/move heavy equipment, including tables, chairs, podiums, and other items, and adapt communication to various audiences. Maintain organization and timely execution of room setup and breakdown to support seamless events.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift/move tables, chairs, podiums up to 100 lbs and move goods up to 500 lbs with/without accommodation
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with setting up meeting rooms and ballrooms per guest specifications
- Strong physical stamina for continuous setup/breakdown
- Full participation in duties as assigned
