Job Summary
Set up banquet rooms and event spaces according to Banquet Event Order specifications. Serve food and beverages to guests professionally while maintaining menu knowledge for inquiries. Monitor guest needs throughout events and collaborate with the banquet team for seamless execution. Assist with breakdown and cleanup to restore areas to original condition. Adhere to all safety and sanitation standards, including proper food handling procedures. Perform duties as assigned to keep events running efficiently. Requires flexibility for varied hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds. Required Qualifications
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on event schedules.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move quickly for extended periods (up to 8 hours or more).
- Lift, carry, push, or pull items up to 50 pounds (e.g., trays, chairs, tables, and banquet equipment).
- Perform repetitive motions such as bending, stooping, and reaching.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with periods of high activity.
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in banquet or event service is preferred but not required.
