Job Summary
Provide smooth and efficient food service during events as an on-call banquet server. Responsibilities include setting banquet rooms per event orders, acknowledging guests with a friendly greeting, taking orders and delivering to the appropriate person, reviewing event plans at shift start, maintaining knowledge of all menu items, delivering food, beverages, condiments, and other items, ensuring food is prepared correctly, clearing tables, adhering to brand standards and liquor policies, cleaning designated areas, stocking sideboards, setting tables, assisting with other restaurant tasks, and performing other duties as assigned. Must have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, be able to operate a POS system, work quickly and efficiently, and be able to lift up to 25 pounds. Must be able to work varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
