Job Summary
On-Call Banquet Server for a Part Time role at Grouse Mountain Lodge. Responsibilities include providing welcoming, timely, and efficient service to guests during banquets and events; setting up event spaces per Banquet Event Orders (BEOs); assisting with buffet, plated, and reception-style service including food running and clearing courses; serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with state laws and company policies; monitoring guest needs and maintaining a clean, organized event space during and after functions; assisting with setup and teardown of bars, buffets, stations, and coffee breaks; following sequence of service standards and directions from Banquet Captain/Manager; handling cash, room charges, or POS orders as needed; maintaining safety and sanitation standards; communicating with Banquet leadership to support smooth event execution; and being flexible for on-call shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays. IDEAL EXPERIENCE notes 1–2 years in a full-service restaurant, hotel, or banquet setting and hospitality POS experience. Skills include strong guest service, ability to carry trays, good communication, attention to detail in table settings, teamwork, and safety awareness.
