Job Summary
Set up banquet rooms and event spaces according to Banquet Event Order specifications. Serve food and beverages to guests professionally while monitoring needs and addressing inquiries. Maintain knowledge of menu items and collaborate with the banquet team to ensure seamless execution. Assist with breakdown and cleanup, restoring areas to their original condition while adhering to all safety and sanitation standards. Adhere to proper food handling procedures and perform other duties as assigned to keep events running efficiently. This role requires flexibility for varied hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays, with physical demands of standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on event schedules.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move quickly for extended periods (up to 8 hours or more).
- Lift, carry, push, or pull items up to 50 pounds (e.g., trays, chairs, tables, and banquet equipment).
- Perform repetitive motions such as bending, stooping, and reaching.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with periods of high activity.
