Job Summary
Banquet Server responsible for setting up banquet functions (draping tables, placing centerpieces, preparing drinks), serving and bussing tables, and tearing down banquet rooms. Responsibilities include transporting food from back hall, carrying trays, serving food, clearing and sanitizing tables, cleaning back hall and storerooms, assisting with event room setup, stocking workstations, and ensuring safety. Requires attention to dietary requests, providing guest information, and delivering warm welcomes and farewells while maintaining professional interactions with staff and guests in a 4- or 5-star hospitality environment. Flexible availability including daytime, evenings, weekends, and holidays is needed; prior banquet service and knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails, and spirits are highly valued.
Required Qualifications
- 2-4 years of food service experience
- prefer banquet service
- knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails, and spirits
- able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- excellent communication skills
- flexible availability including daytime, evenings, weekends, holidays
- experience in a 4-star, 5-star venue with synchronized service
- strong guest-service orientation
