Job Summary
On/Off Premise Beer Sales Representative for Chicago territory responsible for driving distribution and volume growth through collaboration with distributor partners, training accounts on brand and brewing processes, maintaining shelf standards and inventory, executing POS programs and promotions, tracking territory progress, ensuring compliance with alcoholic beverage regulations, and traveling within assigned region. Requires 2-4 years sales experience, associates degree (bachelor’s degree preferred), 21+ years old, valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle, willingness to travel weekends/holidays, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Must be able to lift/move cases of product (up to 50 pounds) and operate in a hands-on, field-sales environment.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Must be 21 years or older
- 2-4 years demonstrated sales experience, preferably in beer, wine, or spirits
- Must live in assigned territory with access to reliable transportation – large vehicle preferred
- Must have valid driver's license, registered and insured vehicle with clean driving record/background check
- Must be willing to travel within assigned sales region
- Must be able to lift and move cases of product frequently (50 pounds or more)
- Must be able to climb, kneel, and stoop to arrange and display point of sale
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays, as needed
- Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Experience as a Bartender, Waitress, Bar Management, Distributor Sales Rep, etc. is a plus
- Associates Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Must maintain compliance with alcoholic beverage regulations
