Job Summary
Cox Media Group Orlando Radio seeks a Part-Time On-Air Host to connect with audiences on-air, in person, and via social media. Responsibilities include show preparation, hosting air shifts, and collaborating with the program director to develop engaging content. Candidates must demonstrate strong storytelling abilities, understand PPM metrics, and have experience with audio editing and production equipment. Proficiency in using social media to promote content is essential. Applicants are required to submit an Air Check Package.
Required Qualifications
- Strong on-air presence
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Track record of success in ratings and revenue
- Experience operating all on-air and production equipment
- Experience with audio software editing products (Adobe Audition, etc.)
- Computer skills for audio delivery and automation systems (Wide Orbit, Audiovault, etc.)
- Available as needed, including nights, weekends, etc.
- MUST be social media savvy
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum 1-year on-air experience required
- Spanish language radio format experience preferred
