Job Summary
The OMSA Student Program Coordinator supports the Office of Multicultural Student Affairs at UW-Parkside by handling day-to-day administrative tasks, promoting events, and assisting with planning and assessment of programs. The role serves as a resource and liaison for students, student organizations, and the campus community, offering one-on-one coaching to support student success and referring to staff resources as needed. Collaboration with the Student Development & Engagement departments (OMSA, GSAC, SEC) is part of the role, and responsibilities include independent completion of tasks, communications, event promotion, and coordination support. Compensation is $13 per hour; position is part-time and aimed at current students with flexible scheduling. Employment involves a background check and adherence to campus policies on equal opportunity and disability accommodations.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a cumulative GPA of 2.75
- Must be a junior or senior in good standing with the university
- Must have 1 year of related program or student leadership experience
- Must be flexible with availability of schedule
