Job Summary

Produce an integrated site schedule within the OMS Framework by understanding work needs, national planning requirements, and prioritizing activities to resolve conflicts. Create well-balanced schedules between maintenance and production, publish them to stakeholders, and assist engineers in scheduling shutdowns. Confirm resource availability for all jobs, track personnel and material logistics, and pack store task packages three days in advance. Manage incoming resources, coordinate CAPEX and project work, and balance training needs with production demands. Track execution of production and maintenance tasks while identifying process improvements. Maintain accountability for the schedule and ensure it meets demand and resource requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • Tertiary education in Engineering
  • BTech Pulp & Paper Technology
  • B.Sc. or BEng (Chem, Mech, Elec or Industrial Eng)
  • At least five years practical experience in a manufacturing plant
  • Three years in a management or engineering position
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 6-Sigma or similar methodologies
  • Sound analytical, statistical and problem-solving skills
  • Passionate about quality
  • Risk management expertise

Desired Qualifications

  • Preferred qualification would be either B.Sc. or BEng (Chem, Mech, Elec or Industrial Eng)
