Job Summary

Review lecture material for first-year Osteopathic students and assist with new techniques based on that content. Manage preparation for individual and/or group sessions while answering questions with faculty support. Recognize diverse learning styles to tailor study techniques and create a professional environment that models respect for students' cultures and experiences. Provide direct assistance with equipment, learning objects, and materials needed for student success. Utilize feedback and reflection to continuously improve practice. Must be a second-year student in good standing with excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Required Qualifications

  • 2nd year student
  • Good standing
  • Passing all classes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and comprehension skills
  • Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality of privileged information
  • Good organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage professional and interpersonal relationships
  • Interact effectively with diverse members of the institutional community and outside constituencies
  • Commitment to diversity in the workplace
